I work the F119 engines for almost a year....freaking beastly! Just to give some of you an idea. The High Pressure Turbine extracts 1,000 HP per blade from combustion. There are 52 Blades on the HPT so that turbine alone makes 52,000 HP!
that does not include augmentation or power extracted from the Low Pressure Turbine. Us engine guys mainly deal with thrust not HP. I just throught I would throw that out there.....
Here is a HPT on the table...I know that guy too...
