Well redrocket that's probably the worst free fall accident I've ever seen :( That or the guy that got ran over by a commercial airliner during flight...

I almost passed through a cherry's canopy at 5K this November and thought that was pretty shitty. But damn...never come close to hitting a fuck'n bridge :shock:

I was looking for that vid Bob, actually you found a better version than I was aware of.

We jump a Cypress system on our rigs. You turn it on at the DZ or you can program the altitude of ground level for your projected DZ. It senses barametric pressure as you're falling through the atmosphere. For night jumps now we can wear ear pieces so that the Cypress tells us what altitude we're at. Anyways, at 1500 if we're traveling faster than 28ft per sec it automatically deploys the main chute. What you saw in that video was the Cypress doing it's job. Actually the rig you see in the video that deployed was the man who was killed. In another video you can see the survivor's legs become amputated.

Oh and that man's ex wife needs fucking run over with a garbage truck :evil: What a piece of shit :!:
