Hi Glen welcome aboard .I was hoping that you and John would start posting thanks for joining us.
I am also real fricken happy with my new GSS motor it did real nice at Pismo in the sand. I put a service Honda CDI/ lighting coil on her and she is a real bitch to start after warm up, I am hoping that Rabbit gets his compression release thing going and if it works good for him with his outfit then I will install one on mine would that effect the performance ? Is there anything out there that you would recommend? It’s just this rabbit kick thing that’s required for the S/H CDI is a mofo when you are tired. And as you know I am a big guy so it’s not that I am kicking it like a little girl.
Thanks for your input & opinion
Jay Lewis

Jay, Did you keep the stock firing coil ?? If you did I already modified that firing coil by adding more winds of wire to raise the AC voltage output to 36 v. AC. The stock one only puts out 24-32 v.out put AC.This was done to give the race engine more firing power at a higher R.P.M. as far as for making your race bike a enduro type with lighting capabilities
a lot of off road racers use the new led lighting, They take up little space and run long periods of time on small batteries. My 2 cents. Glen

Hey Glen I just met you Friday when I dropped off my engine. Thanks for the tour.
Guys this fellow as the coolest stuff sitting around his place. I wish I had a camera. He showed me his championship winning hillclimber from back in the day! It still had the steel paddles on it. AWESOME!!!!!
