I'm doing a run of these if anyone is interested.
If any of you do use the plans, the coil adapter holes are .300" from the side (This was shown in the old drawings, but not the new ones) I only bring that up because my machinist asked me that question.
My mounts were in the CNC machine a half hour ago. I get the first kit monday. Because they are CNC machined, most of the cost is in setup, so additional kits will be cheep, I'm only sellig them to cover costs, not for profit. If I make any extra, I'll send some coin to Shanman for the drawings cuz hes da man!

Its everything needed besides a shorty plug, exhaust mount relocation, welding and some elbow grease. Oh, and you need to get a long bolt for the front. I couldn't find a metric one, so I'm using standard. in standard a 3/8x6 grade 8 bolt will work. I hate mixing, but I don't want to drive all the way up to nevada bolt to find a m10 in that length.
We haven't figuired out pricing yet because it isn't finished, so we don't have an invoice and we aren't quite sure on the number we are going to make. Everyone who is interested speak up so I can get an idea of the number we want to make.
The machinist told me that this first set is rough and the production ones will be better.

I would be interested in a set. Mainly because in the future the kit won't be available, and in that same future, I will want to do a conversion. Seems like the rollers are getting pretty commonly available, and the gen 1 would be fine for my riding needs. I like projects too, and that gen 1 conversion looks fun to do, as well as functional.
Don't Clyde it, ride it!

sure, I'll pencil you in for one.
I have to admit the gen-1 conversion is loads of fun, and less fab work than later gens. Plus, I bought my '97 250 running for $900, and sold the motor, elec. and pipe for $700, so they are cheap!

Hmmmmm....those look familiar.... Nice job mang! BTW: The only other hardware required to complete the conversion is a Y fitting so solve the two into one coolant hose issue. I have designed one of those as well, but had not yet done a drawing. I will make that drawing PDQ. It can be done using standard copper stuff from the hardware store however.

I ended up making front mounts and a headstay while I was waiting, but the look like poop, so I'm glad I waited. Thanks, those drawings made it so I don't have another crap conversion like the ebay ones.
