Sig photos

Can we please avoid putting monster photos into our signatures?
If I look at a thread and see there are pictures, I can avoid it, but if you put it in your sig and you respond to EVERYTHING (danny), I can't.
Presently there is one that is 1.4 MEGABYTES that is just killing me. (danny)
... and if I hear one comment about "get broadband" I'll go postal. I am presently out of town and accessing via cell phone internet, which is better than dial up, but is not exactly broadband.
Please?

@ 150k it's not near as big a deal.
I don't even notice. But 1.4 MEG is 10 times that.

On another board that I go to they set up the board that your sig line only shows up the first time you post in a thread every time after that the sig line just doesn't appear makes for reading posts easier.

mojo... go to your control panel there is a setting in there that will allow you to disable viewing others signitures
just turn em off.
nevermind... not availible in phpbb i ferget sometimes.

Thats pretty much what I do. Just use it once on the threads I start.

there is also a modification to the forum software to do that as well.. But is up to mojo since he runs the joint. Personally i say install the mod that gives us the users the choice to see or not to see avatar's and signatures.
just my 2 cents.

kk, I will tell andy (hoofarted) to stop adding theose funny sigs.
