A quick "How ya'Do", and a photo would be nice.

My short history: raced MX in South Dakota during the mid-80's. Had a '84 CR500 and then a '87 KX250.
Took 4 yrs off for college, then got a '92 YZ250. Raced for three summers at Millville, MN and in Wisconsin, Then quit again after the '94 season due to work, etc.
Fast forward to 2007 when I found an 84 CR500 in northern Illinois. I always wished I still had my 84, so I pulled the trigger and bought it. Now I'm riding MX again in the old farts class.

Here's a photo of my bike when it was REALLY clean. Everything has been dissassembled and inspected/overhauled/rebuilt. I have a new bore and .60 over piston in it. I also split the cases and had a new rod installed. Suspension has stiffer springs (RaceTech emulators for the forks are on thier way). Plastic and seat are original, believe it or not! Frame will be blasted and powdercoated this next winter. The bike also has Boyesen reeds, and the plates now have number "84" on them (a small clue for those who see the bike and are wondering WTF).

Hey Clydes in Wisconson now, or was it Whyoming? Maybe it was Minasoda, whatever, you dudes should get together for a midwest ride or something. Should be a corn field or a cow patti near you to ride in.
