GSS/n2o bike rebuild

Post by britincali »

Did some wrenchin today and got her pretty much done apart from the pipe and intake.

Glen did a bitchin job on the top end for me :D

Studs installed, I chased the the barrel threads with a tap then cleaned 'em out with carb cleaner and compressed air, then wound the studs in as hard as I could pull. I put a stock '89 top end next to it for comparison.

Do have the measuements on those exhaust ports? They look stock to me aside from the skinny bridge. I'm curios how many mm's they are cut on top.

Have a look at the decompression scalops for comparison. Looks like 1 or 2mm higher.
