chachi243 wrote:ive done four bikes, my 05 the latest, this 02 CR250 is my first bike, just hogged and welded the stock Y and put top gussets on, modified the radiators and pics of where i put my coil and box so i didnt have to lenghthen the leads....stock 500 airboot glued to my stock 250 airbox.... your carb should work, but you gotta put the airboot on and then bolt the subframe in place.... its a tick loaded b r i t it works just fine....HATED to sell "the original", but did so to a good friend so i could buy my #2 450 chassis with the cali reg... Rode this bike to 2nd in intermediatte points STARRS...stock with the pipe......the said linky http://cr500riders.com/cgi/yabb/YaBB.pl?num=1123653338
Then the other link for the street legal 450 platform #2 build. Bone stock plus pipe and other than the last race, this is the bike i won the intermediatte points on this year in STARRS.. ive kept the plate stashed while i hunted for my RACE bike... its now retired to trips to 7-11 and work  http://cr500riders.com/cgi/yabb/YaBB.pl?num=1175063090
Then the #3 build 04 450 link to supermotojunkie... this is the blown up bike for sale i built for my race mechanic to test the latest style.

Then my last build, MY hopped up RACE Bike, the 05 CR250! I just took what i learned on the 3rd 450 and made it the same way so i didnt have to hog the Y and pinch the frame spar

I also want to say that iv'e ridden my 500's on dirt knobbies twice ( I know, thats lame! ) but i love 'em for supermoto so much i dont wanna tear 'em up so i just got an 07 stock 250 for dirt, but there IS a dirt section each lap of supermoto...hehe My collection is FINISHED! I am truly STOKED! GO FOR IT RICHIE! That should be enough to get a guy planning! :mebeer:
found the one post ever where i linked every build i have ever done!!! 2 250R's , 3 450's (one i never even took pics of), and now the latest 250X

I kinda got out of the habit of adding bikes to this thread.

I just added AMA714's......

Does anyone else want to be included?

You can add mine, if ya like.
The CR500 is an acquired taste. If you don't like it, acquire some taste...
