Nitrous boom

Post by britincali »

Ive been doing some reading on nitrous and came across this, apparently the guy blew a blow off disc and decided to rig it so it wouldnt happen again, he either doubled up on the disks or replaced the it with a solid plug.

He left his bottle heater on over night and BOOM!

I saw some pics like that before of other cars and entire garages that got wasted by the bottle. It does happen, and is a real safety concern. I wouldn't take it lightly when storing a bottle of nos in a car or house with people around.
Don't Clyde it, ride it!

Who and why would you put Nos on that car anyways, sell the Nos kit and wheels and buy a cooler car.

I think this guy just made the 2007 Darwin awards.
He bypasses the safety relief valve by plugging it up, then hard wires the heater straight to the battery and forgets to turn it off...

Just another dumb ass without an ounce of common sense if you ask me.
