86 CR500 pipe search

Brand new here but I have been scouring the forums for info that I can't seem to find using my phone, I am in dire need of a new pipe for the 86. It currently has a fmf gold series fatty which is beaten and cracked to hell by previous owner, I have repaired half a dozen times but its dead. Now I'm pretty sure I want to go gnarly just for the thicker metal (and it's the only one fmf has listed for 86) which leads me to wonder is my fatty gold for a later model? Because some things don't sit quite where they should. Thoughts?
