What year is this engine

Have the engine here. The number on it is PE02E 5702892. Tried putting my 98 cr250 swinger bolt through it and it's too big the bolt. Thanks for the help.

That serial # should be 1988 motor.

That's what I thought from reading too but my af swinger bolt doesn't fit in the bushings

Pop out the bushings, drill the cases out, and pop in the bigger bushings.
