IMS or Clarke desert tank for 2002 CR250 AF?

Post by kball1313 »

I'm heading to the dunes in 3 weeks, and i'm going to attempt to throw together the 02 af I had Roost fab for me if time allows. If not I have my 10 hour old steely resto to use anyway.

Anyone out there that can tell me how their desert tank fit onto their Gen3 AF? I know my Gen2 motard the clarke fit with no mods, IMS not a chance.

The clarke is great. I had to mod mine but the plastic was nice and thick and took the heat well and stayed nice and solid.

I hope your going to SA, come out to glamis or dumont this time of year and you can just set the tank in the frame and it will form into shape on it's own.
I know there are guys that ride the desert in the summer, I'm not one of them.
Unless it's night ridin'
Gen 2 AF, yes it's a SH, so I can call it an AF Damm it!

Nah, Oregon. Annual trip about 12 guys going this year. I want to plan to hit the CA dunes, but it's a lot farther and hard to get my stoner friends to commit.
