i guess not everyones man enough to ride a 500?
the 450 will have less power and will be harder to start, and will be heavier, but to make up for it it will require more maintenance.

If you wanted a MX'er to own it, you should have left 4th and 5th gears alone.

94 and earlier motor is what everybody uses any way bob , besides more tire speed with the taller gear is better for moto, that's why they always look for more mid to top end power

They changed to the taller 4 and 5 gears in 94 I guess because the older gearbox was better lol

If you cant handle the 500, you certainly cant handle a 1000cc streetbike.
But.....Since Im going to get a new 2012 CBR1000 Im selling my 06 CBR1000.
Has aftermarket goodies, never raced, crashed, or dropped, but its worth waaay
more than your AF, so Ill take your AF and $4000 bucks.

Would you consider selling it without the motor?
Also, would you ship the roller?

This argument makes no sense. But neither does selling a bike after one ride.

And they changed the gears in 93 BTW.
The CR500 is an acquired taste. If you don't like it, acquire some taste...

Happens all the time.

Saw my old Boss buy a boat for 30g because he wanted to get into fishing, had to have a truck to pull it so he spent another 40g or something on a super duty diesel.....one summer and he decides it's not for him. I think he got around 20 out of the truck and 15 or so for the boat. I would shoot myself if I lost that much money on a deal......but I am an old P.O.S. driving hoarder..so what do I know. Good luck on your sale the bike looks really nice.
