Although it doesn't look like I will get lambasted here without an introduction, I'll do it anyway.
Been riding a 500 for about 6 years now. Last year I converted a CRF450 to CR500(what are we calling them here?).
I also just finished a '97 CR250 conversion. ( Haven't even ridden it yet).
my guilty pleasure is a CRF250R.
Been riding mostly at Glamis, moved from an '89 Trx250R to an RM250 to the 500's. Just found out what I've been missing on the trails and tracks. All for fun.

The only track that I've been to is Adelanto. Racing looks fun but I need to be able to ride hard for more than 3 or 4 laps. Way too much time behind the desk and not enough out doing things that will get me in shape.
I used to be able to just tough it out and pay for it later but, since going over 40 yrs old, I can't fake the conditioning anymore.
