That was awesome!

Back when I was a teen, I had a '72 Chevy pickup with a 305 and a "3 on the tree" manual transmission. There ws a single track railroad crossing they had paved over in Beaumont, Texas by the Coca-Cola plant that I would jump. It was a good 3 - 4 ft ramp and you could get some good air at 50 - 60 mph. Because of the angle, the landing was smooth - most of the time. I did pancake once and broke the lower shock mounts on the front. Wish I had video of that!
