Do you like the Banshee, Quadzilla, or a 4 stroker?

I have a 660 its been a good bike. but if it would have been a 2 stroke it would have about $30,000 into it by now....... and I probably wouldent have any NUTS left .

the only reason for the 4 wheeler was because I broke my leg and could not start my bike

Quadzilla hands down its like a CR500 not the best but the ultimate machine!!!!

I like the zilla, but I fear parts may be hard to find.

Problem witha Quadzilla is they are old as the sun now, forget what was the last year made, but it was early 90's for sure. A 4 stroke is a good choice if buying new, but pretty pricey imo. A Banshee is a very good choice because of availability and price and aftermarket support. The Banshee was started back in like '87, and made all the way up untill this year, and virtually all the same. For that reason I like the Banshee over all others. You can get a '00 to '05 model for around 3 to 4 grand. All the old machines including old Banshees, Quadzillas, TRX250's, demand about 3 to 4 grand also, but are much older machines. I also think if you buy a used Banshee, there are several things to look for. Stock and dune wheel and tire sets, aftermarket pipes, and a fresh top end, are the key items I would want in the deal. Big bore kits, alcohol, nitrous, cool heads etc., are things to avoid. Not that those are bad items, but they are a sign that the machine has been flogged, plus the setup could have been done in a questionable manner.

Ya I had the same idea on the banshee, lots-o-parts! But the lt500, mmmmm, power! Dune gear is not needed for me, not much sand in the Midwest. What are the boost bottles about on the banshees I see? I remember something about them doing nothing on the nitro rc stuff I used to run, but do not recall..

A major motor prob with the Zilla motor, crank bearing boss' are not strong enough. Major machining required for Bronze bushings.

Banshees', I know the motor can be built to 490, and 560 I believe. At the time the 490 was more reliable.

Personally I would get a 250R and put a 500 into it!!!!

The ATC 350X is always fun! I like peoples reaction when they see it and ask "arent you afraid?" - And I say why? Its all about your weight placement...

yeah well, I've got the best 3 wheeler EVER!!! a 1971 honda us90!!!! LOL
it is loads of fun around the camp site and the yard!
But I have ridden hoofarteds 350x with a bunch of guys on bikes and kept up, they were way surprised epecially when I launched it (by accident, but they didn't know that)
6th gear in a muddy lake bed is about as fun as it gets!

but back to the topic at hand...banshee all the way. nothing has more parts availabilty oem and aftermarket and a stock or mostly stock one still hauls ass, but is very relieable. I would avoid heavily modded ones because like I've always said...previous owners are always idiots!
a friend on mine had a quadzilla and dumped a ton of $$$ into it and everytime he took it out there was another major engine problem and they really didn't make much power for their size.
thumpers are good if you want to drop some coin on something new and nice. but I wouldn't buy used.
