Interesting retrospective...

A free, open and opinionated forum. It's an interesting concept, to some.
Allow me to give you my perspective....
Alot of members here were/ are members of AP's site. He has a strict set of rules that we all must adhere to to keep things going in the direction that has been set for the site. Bob's site is much, much looser, and that's fine too.
However one thing is very noticeable here, and I guess I don't understand the mentality of those few.
I came over here to shoot the breeze with Brit and Bob because they managed to get themselves removed by upper management at AP's site.
Rabbit came here for the same reason.
Here we are just everyday, normal job holding dirtbikers. On AP's site, apparently we are the "cool kids" who like to thump our chests and act like we know everything. Nothing could be further from the truth. This mentality by some, has made us targets here for some pretty hair splitting discussions. Luckily, I can handle it
Being a moderator is a pretty thankless job, but I'm going to do it regardless because I like AP's site and I also like the fact that my oldest son can go there and read away. I don't see anything wrong with that.
I'm also going to stick around for a while, so get your cheap shots in while you can
Word!
