I havn't gotten anything, but i did get the confermation. I wonder if we will get more this next week as it is getting close. I hope to at least get some info on where to go once we get there. Does anyone know how much the deposit is for the transponder?
I am registered for the unclassified, the evo, and the 2 stroke race. I just didn't think i could hang with the open class on the 250.

The transponder normally costs $10. You don't pay a deposit so much as leave your driving license or a credit card as security. Don't sweat the where to go stuff.

I feel your pain. Get well James.

I almost eat it at Pala last Sunday off the front step up on the north Nat track. Shorted it a few times, no biggie, cleared it a few times. Being sleep deprived made for poor throttle control. The rear clipped the top and sent the front into an endo, thought I was going over the bars but slid all the way back and give it gas and pulled it out.
What was the point of this? Oh ya, my wrist is a little tweeked but should be good for this Sundays race.

End HiJack.

Just went out there to scope it out and talk to the guys setting it up, track is gonna be fast with a few small tight sections and using the MX section of racetown. Mudjump/over-under isnt built yet but they are working on it.

Track is going to be formally cut on wednesday.

People have already started marking off camp spots but as there is no track layed out yet its kind of a crapshoot.

There are not going to be any street sections but they are going to grade a couple of hardpack fire roads, dont bother gearing really high.

Im going to go out on wednesday morning with some caution tape and have at it.
