Mikuni carb with many many patterned little hole drilled in the bell of the carb in a swirl design.

I tried one on my 96 250 for oval ice racing.
it was a mother fucker to jet correctly, but once it was jetted correctly that thing would rip.
everything affected it, humidity/Bar. pressure/atmospheric temp, one small change in any of these and jetting was NFG. To finicky for ice racing, sold it. If I remember right, that thing was $550-600 bones.

I think Rich Taylor used one on a CR for the 250 nationals in 96 or 97 and killed all the factory riders on the starts all year.

thanks for the info. I saw this online and was curious what it was about. seems like all mikuni carbs are inconsistant with the exception of the old VM roundslides. my 03 CR125 was such a pain I put an air striker on it.
way mo betta.
