Banned D/S'ers First Ride!

Solid's buddy Landon is putting this ride on. In true Banned fashion, were going to crash it, and have a good time......
This email is to start planning the Mojave Road Trail ride. Feel free to add more people but once we set the truck/room accommodations anyone added after will have to organize their own spot. Below are some of the details that we have ironed out thus far.
Distance:
This is roughly a 140 mile ride and estimated 5hr trip (with fuel and rest stops)
Time:
Leave Tuesday December 28th @ 5am from OC
o Hit the trail ( 15 freeway @ 40 freeway) by 9am
o Stay at the Avi Casino ($20ish rooms) the night of the 28th

o Hit the trail for the return trip by 9am
Navigation: I have the trail in my GPS that I will have mounted on my bike. I have also talked to other people who have done it before and they say that the trail is marked very well and a GPS is not even needed. I can email the trail that I have to others if you have a GPS too. This is a 100% DIRT RIDE, NO ASPHALT!!!
Bikes: This is a dual sport ride (i.e. street legal) but if you want to chance it on a regular dirt bike that is up to you.
Necessities: You should carry at least 100 miles worth of fuel for your bike. Bring tools and tubes for your bike.
Lodging: once everyone lets me know that they are in Brandon will book a block of rooms at the Avi. Contact Solid Bro Eric ASAP if your going !!!

This is going to be a cool ride. Literally flat out cold.
I looking at bikes for Garrett / Super Trucker so he can ride with us too.

Hello to all of the scandalous CR500 riders here. I am Solid's neighbor, Layton, and from what I hear I am the cause for this dual sport fiasco. I understand that this enduro thing is an odd idea for most of you as these bikes don't burn through 5 gallons in 20 miles
So as Bob posted above we have organized a ride from Barstow to the Avi Casino. We are calling it the 1st Annual Long Road to Laughlin Trail Ride.
For those who are in or very close to being in please let me know asap as we are reserving rooms and need to get a rough head count. Please feel free to PM me or just repost here if you are interested.

if I have to I can bail out later but Ill still pay what evers due.
just went out & slaped the light bulb back on her, I think she's ready .
I may change the oil & service the air filter this weekend
