Can someone help me find info on how to install 1989 cr500 engine in a 2007 cr250f chassis????? also are there kits available? THanks,Blizz8181

No, in the 13 PAGES of threads, and in the THOUSANDS of A/F conversion posts.... their is no information available on the conversion of which you speak.

I think what Bob is trying to say is, Whats the point of joining a forum if you are not going to read what has been written already.

89-01 CR500 engines are same and 04-07 CRF250R chassis are the same.

START READING BUSTER! It's all in here just waiting for you to read / learn

BTW good luck with your build, from what I understand it will be a very nice ride if you use the knowledge available here. :wink:

He should also know that you have a 93 CR500 not an 89 CR500.

Go easy on me guys I'm new to this beer can game. I was just trying to get started with my CRF250R frame(posted wrong the first time) and was wondering what the quickest and easiest steps to take. I have some tool and die friends but if there is a motor mount, head stay kit out there, It would make things sweet.
