got my 89 graphics finnally from service honda after a month on backorder

Bike looks good. IMHO, don't waste your money on a pipe guard. They don't really work and just leave rust spots when removed.
The CR500 is an acquired taste. If you don't like it, acquire some taste...

did you ride it before the work to make a comparo?

i gottta say, upon closer examination, if you look at the base of the cylinder, there is markings on the cylinder walls by the transfer ports. where the gasket would sit. what are they all about? is that ment to keep the gasket from blowing out?
looks nice otherwise. the ports were really cleaned and mated well. wish i could get quality work like that done here in s.a.

nice job on the build. If you want low end power, why are you running a pc pipe instead of a fmf gnarly or something?
I think you are the first person that I know to install a kickstand and still use a tree to hold your bike up lol.
