Acerbis rear fender with light? Help identify

Post by dleeallen »

I just bought this bike and it has a fender with dual filament bulb plug, but no lens. It does have a cover though. The plug says acerbis on it, but I don't see anything listed in their catalogs. Any ideas where I can find a lens for this?

Acerbis Baja rear fender - Its part number was 80.13 W (in white)

The lense was #70.22 - they later did a soft, flexible version of it - not sure if it retained the same part number or not

They were also std fitment on KTMS in the 80s.

UFO also did a copy of it. The lense from the UFO fender fits the Acerbis fender.

I worked @ the OZ importers for aprox five years - still have part numbers locked in my thick skull - even worse is the amount of grey matter taken up by all the Fox Shox part numbers......

Looks like you also use the MSR fold out tool roll - I still use mine on my CRE till this day - bought in 88, used on numerous bikes @ still going strong.

Thanks bearorso!

That's just the info I needed. Now to find a lens.

I wish I had the tool bad, apparently it fell off in the previous owners field...
