Lenwood dunes/riverbed

Post by britincali »

Rolled out to the little dunes at around 4 pm today until around 6.30, the GSS motor ran friggin awsome, I rode for about 90 mins in the sand, she drank almost 4 gallons of C12 but ran clean fast and beautiful.

Big difference from the stock motor, it still has the low end grunt of the stocker but friggin screams on top. Even with the power increase its still very trail livable (albeit wheelie happy), I might even have glen do the motor on my AF.

Definatly leagues better than eric gorrs top end port, it has more on top, on the bottom, in the middle.... You get my drift  .

I knew it. He couldn't go to Kennedy Meadows because he was scared you guys were going to make him ride where you had to conquer obstacles, get wet, turn, use your brakes/clutch and all that other boring stuff. :stretcher:

Instead he went where he could go straight really fast. :hiding:

Poor guy doesn't know what he's missing. :screwy: Pity him. He's obviously brain damaged. :shortbus: :itsok:

Looks like fun - but is riding legal out there? I know in Apple Valley and Hesteria they really cracked down...Looks like someplace I'd like to check out in the future.

Barstow is completly bike friendly, they will even let you ride on the street as long as you arn't hauling ass.

Anytime you wanna come up and ride you're more than welcome, my cell is 760 217 0553.

Yeah I have been near Trona or just to the north - Red Mountain area. But my Thanksgiving is already set for Ocotillo Wells...should be a lot of fun!
