Progess as of this weekend..pulled the motor out of the old chassis.. Douched it really good..touched up the case..looks minty imo..then i cut and cleaned up the needed bits, which let me throw the motor in for a few teaser pics..I CANT WAIT TO RIDE..Image

YEAA!!! just recieved a pm and my kit is being shipped soon..just gotta work on the tank, exhaust, and some typical engine/chassis maint..woohoo..mud season should be knarly up here in the northeast..cant wait to ride.. :P ..any ballpark cost figures in the welding part of this gen1 build(two front motormounts)??

every welder varies...get on the phone with some people and figure out numbers brother...

Just recieved shanmans gen 1 kit.. woohoo!! looks minty!! thanks shanman.. :birthday: :woot:
98' CR500AF (offroad weapon)
88' olds cutlass supreme-383 chevy, muncie m-21,stock 3:73 8.5" rearend (street/strip weapon)
86' s-10 blazer-96 vortec 350 2-wd,dropped shaved (parts store runner)lol

^^^In that pic the mounts are not welded on the outside of the frame..should i have the same done to my bike??

I had mine welded on all sides. should be good.
