SOME UPDATED PICS

Post by xtremeslide »

O.K that is my new bike i want to set up the 0 miles engine in a n AF frame,"still wondering 3 or 4 gen"250 two stroke or a CRF250 of course..

I know that all of you have different opinions so i will post a song and during this, look the pics and after give me your opinion(about the bike conversion),If you use google chrome will be easier, thanks in advance 4all.

Why you like 3 gen conversions or CRF250

it's a shame those old steelie frames are virtually worthless nowadays cause that's a nice bike...Go with any chassis i personally don't care which you pick, but i'll put it this way:

Cleanest - Gen 3 cr250 conversion,
Easiest - Gen 1 cr250,
Most Modern - Service honda uses the Gen 4 250F if you want to be exactly like them,
Largest - Gen3 CRF450 conversion,
Something New - Gen5 Crf450 conversion (that's what i wanna see)

Anyways have fun man...

Fcuk me, too many projects and but too much time spent away from home, that picture must be two years old. other projects on the go include CR500AF, 2x XL250 k3's and a Wes Cooley replica. I must learn to start only one project at a time including work and family!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have already sorted the swinging arm for the upside down operation, as the chain runs on the other side, the kicker clears the frame, its all down to spacing and the splines. I have been Holding the engine for a CR250 Elsinore but the are so bloody expensive it may get use in this frame. Head off and its an easy fit.

I had to go out to the garage in a -34c windchill lastnight just to look at that 450 enigne i have, that'll be a nice build. I bet the y on a gen3 250 frame doesnt have to be mooved either, am i right?

That frame is a 2004 CRF450, I do have a 250r in the garage though, might have a try one day.
