Be optimistic. The RNC just appointed Michael Steel as chairman. This guy is just what the republicans have needed. His stated mission is to change the republican party from the wimps they have been. Expect to see a more aggressive policy and the party get back in touch with its base from the bottom up. Hopefully we will be seeing change back to Reagan conservatism and a different result in upcoming house, senate and presidential elections.
