Why not to rest your arm on your pipe!!!

Post by dannygraves »

So I was getting my carb dialed in and took it for a HARD ride, then came back to swap my main for one size leaner. On my old '86 pipe it didn't wrap around the ignition cover area much at all, but the fmf does. I was used to resting my arm on the ign cover, but this time there was a really freaken hot pipe there. I heard it and smelled it before I felt it.

who needs to waste their time with a/f meters, or test runs, just place your arm on the pipe and read the burn!!!
