PISMO RIDE 2008
I have to say it was not easy to ride Bob's bike with "ape-hangers" and 2" lowered pegs
Oh and Bob I know you don't ride WFO much but it needs a BIGGER main
Other than that its a nice piece GREAT job on your build......

Ya Cynthia and I walked down at low tide, 12:30am for a sand dollar or two, next thing I know Brit is there and sandman. I'm two Mai Tai's into this. Then he strips down to his undees. As he walks in we look down the beach and wondered if the ranger was coming. Sure enough, but the ranger just cruises by, but were rolling. Then sandman take his clothes back to camp which is on the otherside of another camp, Brit goes walking right through it. More later.....dannygraves wrote:oh, Brit did strip down to go for a swim and Sandman took his clothes! that was some funny shit! And we had atomic buffalo turds...YUM!
Give Sabre some time for the video.

The bike ran great Still a tad surgy with a 62 pilot in a PJ. The Epoxy pretty much held until after sat morning dune ride, just leaked a tiny bit. But hell that ride drags included were probably the most load I've ever put on that motor.
I lead about half that ride then Jay was on a mission to make up for friday cause he took a good hit the day before and rested. Even Bob said he was haulin. We did find the best that Pismo has to offer for dune riding.
Definately a great time. And thanks to TT P&P MFDB for the tows.

I havent touched it ( or even washed it) from the Pinnicles ride..... ( 5,000')
I figured with your monkey ass on it, a little lean wouldnt even matter....
Riding was good
Food was great
Hanging out with the Hoons was awesome!
Seeing allot of family's turn out was an added bonus.
This Pismo event just gets better and better every year!!
I got some great shots of the "H" bomb....
EVERYTHING STOPPED!!!
No fire works
No Kwads
No Loud music
No vehicles driving around
You could have heard a pin drop ( in the sand!) for the 5 minutes that thing burned...
It was amazing!

Yea that atomic light burst on the mountain was insane! It looked like a space ship landing, and the entire dune area was like melting snow. I bet nobody has seen that there before. Poeple were stunned, and when it ended, there was a cheer and applause from the multitudes of campers. It was so profound, I wouldn't doubt the greenies are gonna use it to try and shut down the entire orv area because of it.
Don't Clyde it, ride it!

Some photos..... I think Sabres video will be the only "Action" shots.... Who has time to stop for a photo op when your tearing up the dunes?
The "BANNED" Campsite is easy to find.....
A few generations of Honda's showed up....
Hiroshima at Pismo
A "Mike Stiles" eclipse
Jack, setting off his first mortar......
New best friends come in many sizes......

P&P if you think that was impressive that same guy pulled me out all by himself. That was one of the most wicked things I have witnessed.Ported&Polished wrote:That motorhome of Sabres was like a sled, I was impressed that we got him in. My little Jeep was a tractor out there, goes to show what can be done with 5psi in your tires!
Yeah guys I got lots of video so give me some time to go through it all.
Definitely not tonight though I am hitting the sack.

Yeah it was amazing, the whole place just shut down while that was going off. Before it was made illegal (at Glamis and others) it was commen to see that, but at Pismo its a whole nother game.Ported&Polished wrote: I bet nobody has seen that there before.
