Well its wasn't what I expected competition wise. Seven newbies joined in. Five were faster, two were slower. Finished 9-11th for 11th of 14. But the hilites being second into the first turn in both motos. Then not getting caught up behind three girls from the gate before us and passing them and a fast guy up the big hill if you want to call it that for there, all in one shot. Normally its the ski jump (avatar pic <-- ) when the track goes the other way. I think the offcamber sweeping turns that I never got comfortable with did me in.
At this point I'm hanging on by a point for third in the series.
One things for sure, I'm going to Glen Helen Thursday morning and after the first two sets of laps I'm practicing the corners in the lower section.
