2000 cr125 conversion?

Post by Stinkychris »

Hello All, I'm thinking about attempting my first afc 500 build. I have a chance to buy a 2000 cr125 for right about a grand, the bike looks to be in pretty good shape all things given. I searched for information on this year/model conversion and didn't come up with much. I was hoping someone could tell me if this has been done, how much is involved with the conversion, if there are any kits availiable for the y and engine mounts, and opinions on this conversion. Thanks ahead of time Chris!

A 125 conversion is the most work. To do a 2000 125 seems like alot of work for that chassis.

I gotcha, one other reason I was considering this particular bike is because it has already been titled as a motorcycle and on paper is street legal. Not sure If I'd ever go this route, but to race enduro's around here the bike must be registered and "street legal" i.e head light and tail light! Thanks for the advice
