CR500 ENGINE JIGS NOW AVAILABLE

It's become so politically correct where I work I have to call this a "fixture" no shit. I wish I'd had a jig when I did my conversion.

I think I like the triangle better. I had one of my jigs warp after about the third frame it was used on due to the 065 instead of 095 I went to. What are you using on this?

It'd be the same dimension 1987-01, only the 85-86 short deck cases would need a different head stay height

I purchased Kevin's jig for my conversion. It includes the cylinder head mount and is very accurate. It really helped keep all the motor mounts in place during welding.
When I was done welding, I removed the jig and all my motor mount bolts went in with little effort.

You will need a case to properly locate the right lower fame rail notch for the clutch cover bolt, but everything else can be done with the jig.
