Squish

Post by black »

I got my squish at .035''-.037'' depending at what side I measure it. It was measured front, rear, left and right side, I now this is about as tight as a ticks ass for a 500 jug.
Has any other hoon run it that close or do you guys think it will hit the head.
It’s a 86 head but I made the squish band 15mm wide and cut the chamber sides from the 15mm mark (blending in with the rest of the chamber). I haven’t taken head volume yet, but would like to know if 63cc would run on 95 octane? Do not want to assemble and remove it again soon.

sounds close to 63, needs to be looser squish, the old short rod motors need less squish than newer too. I'd look for .065"-.070"
