Another newbie

Post by Nomadic Cycle Racks »

I came to the site in order to find a more in depth, no bull crap kind of site, mainy for the A/F conversions. And What do you know? THIS PLACE IS LEGIT.

I...uh....WISH I owned a five hundy, but for now I have to lug around a drz. Main priorities are building the growing fabrication bus. Within the next year, you WILL see an A/F conversion and using it for its intended purpose. Consider me a hoon in training.

I fabricate cargo racks for DRZ's & KTM's, hence the ownership of the lil machine, and sell them on Ebay. The website is coming soon. Thank you in advance, for all the helpful info I have found and will find. Now where to find that donor 250...

Right on brother, welcome to the board. I wanna see the racks you make so post a link of some pics please. And since you fabricate, be the first to make a A/Fconversion extended range fuel tank, and you can sell them too.

Ok I see it, and think a cr500 model would be easy. I would suggest it have a tab on the end for a dune flag though.

Welcome to the site!

Did you make racks for DR350s a few years back? I remember a guy from cali selling racks when I was a member of a DR board.

No, I wasn't the individual making racks for the DR350. Iv'e seen him though. Not a bad product but I remember seeing them overpriced. I aim for the Costco approach; providing a quality product at a good price. It has paid off so far!

If anyone is interested in a rack for their bike I would be happy to fab one up for you. For the price of using a donor bike for a week or so, the rack would be free of charge. Thanks for the warm welcome!
