GOT OIL!!!

Post by quicfix500 »

Here's an astonishing read. Important and verifiable information :

About 6 months ago, the writer was watching a news program on oil and one of the Forbes Bros. Was the guest. The host said to Forbes, "I am going to ask you a direct question and I would like a direct answer; how much oil does the U.S. Have in the ground?" Forbes did not miss a beat, he said, "more than all the Middle East put together." Please read below.

The U. S. Geological Service issued a report in April 2008 that only scientists and oil men knew was coming, but man was it big. It was a revised report (hadn't been updated since 1995) on how much oil was in this area of the western 2/3 of North Dakota, western South Dakota, and extreme eastern Montana ..... Check THIS out:

The Bakken is the largest domestic oil discovery since Alaska 's Prudhoe Bay , and has the potential to eliminate all American dependence on foreign oil. The Energy Information Administration (EIA) estimates it at 503 billion barrels. Even if just 10% of the oil is recoverable... At $107 a barrel, we're looking at a resource base worth more than $5...3 trillion.

"When I first briefed legislators on this, you could practically see their jaws hit the floor. They had no idea.." says Terry Johnson, the Montana Legislature's financial analyst.

"This sizable find is now the highest-producing onshore oil field found in the past 56 years," reportsThe Pittsburgh Post Gazette. It's a formation known as the Williston Basin , but is more commonly referred to as the 'Bakken' It stretches from Northern Montana , through North Dakota and into Canada . For years, U. S. Oil exploration has been considered a dead end. Even the 'Big Oil' companies gave up searching for major oil wells decades ago. However, a recent technological breakthrough has opened up the Bakken's massive reserves..... And we now have access of up to 500 billion barrels. And because this is light, sweet oil, those billions of barrels will cost Americans just $16 PER BARREL!

That's enough crude to fully fuel the American economy for 2041 years straight. And if THAT didn't throw you on the floor, then this next one should - because it's from 2006!

U.. S. Oil Discovery- Largest Reserve in the World

Stansberry Report Online - 4/20/2006

Hidden 1,000 feet beneath the surface of the Rocky Mountains lies the largest untapped oil reserve in the world. It is more than 2 TRILLION barrels. On August 8, 2005 President Bush mandated its extraction. In three and a half years of high oil prices none has been extracted. With this motherload of oil why are we still fighting over off-shore drilling?

They reported this stunning news: We have more oil inside our borders, than all the other proven reserves on earth.. Here are the official estimates:

- 8-times as much oil as Saudi Arabia
- 18-times as much oil as Iraq
- 21-times as much oil as Kuwait
- 22-times as much oil as Iran
- 500-times as much oil as Yemen
- and it's all right here in the Western United States.

HOW can this BE? HOW can we NOT BE extracting this? Because the environmentalists and others have blocked all efforts to help America become independent of foreign oil! Again, we are letting a small group of people dictate our lives and our economy.....WHY?

James Bartis, lead researcher with the study says we've got more oil in this very compact area than the entire Middle East -more than 2 TRILLION barrels untapped. That's more than all the proven oil reserves of crude oil in the world today, reports The Denver Post.
Don 't think 'OPEC' will drop its price - even with this find? Think again! It's all about the competitive marketplace, - it has to. Think OPEC just might be funding the environmentalists?

Got your attention yet? Now, while you're thinking about it, do this:

Pass this along. If you don't take a little time to do this, then you should stifle yourself the next time you complain about gas prices - by doing NOTHING, you forfeit your right to complain.

Now I just wonder what would happen in this country if every one of you sent this to everyone in your address book.

By the way...this is all true. Check it out at the link below!!!
GOOGLE it, or follow this link. It will blow your mind.

Sure glad the environmentalist and all the bleeding heart liberals have us depending on foreign oil!!!

those billions of barrels will cost Americans just $16 PER BARREL!
even if it gets extracted the price aint gonna go down much, youll just get bent over even further by the tax man

im gonna start a fuck you EPA day... to participate you get a few tires and light them up

the 450 will have less power and will be harder to start, and will be heavier, but to make up for it it will require more maintenance.

I live in the country and consequently usually have a burn pile, various accumulated things besides brush (there's a couch somewhere in there!).
Every time I see/hear something about energy or the environment, I want to line all my bikes, mowers, lawn equipment up and start them up at the same time, over 50 engines running.
Plus, a massive burn pile set on fire.
Maybe make a juvenile youtube video.

Seriously though, follow the money on the energy thing.
Oil companies are making more on lower production numbers.
Have you noticed higher prices on consumer items in the last 6 months?
Companies have reportedly raised prices to recoup lost sales from lower volume.
Increase supply and their profits will go down with lower prices.
It's all about control.
Control the population, one way or another.
Energy, taxes, laws, they have us by the short hairs.

My escape is a free ride on one of my bikes.

That oil discovery was just them catching on that the same oil basin Canada has been into for 30 + years stretches south.
I have uncles who've been at the top of the oil deal in alberta since the 60s, theyve always said theres 1000x more oil there than they'll claim.

The bush family did a hell of a nice job of aligning all the manufacturers to choke down economy with epa standards and bogus other programs. You get back into the late 60s and early 70s and see that the cars then were making more power on less fuel. I dont understand how the hell we're supposed to have the ability to burn the hydrocarbons with the new diesels by adding fuel and somehow 40% less fuel economy is expected to give less emissions.
Its all bullshit.

problem with getting the oil is if they dont do it right it fucks up alot of landscape and causes problems where the animals live. i think they can drill to several wells from one rig. kill 2 birds with one stone so to speak. ive never seen how or if they actually do it though. was north of billings sunday and monday at a small rig and they have to wipe out a fairly good chunk of land to set up the drill equipment. nice country up there, be a shame to screw it up. alot of drilling going in north dakota around williston. think its 700 miles from here and they have ads in the paper here looking for help.

"F" those Hybrid pieces of shit..... Most these car had CARBS!!!!!

In the following 11 years, mileage went DOWN, not UP

Lame.....

1991produced the highest "Top Ten High MPG" list EVER, and was dominated by GM-badged Suzukis, wearing Geo Metro, Pontiac Firefly, and Chevy Sprint nameplates. Eight of the top ten spots are taken by variations of the Suzuki Swift in both three- and four-cylinder form. (All run on regular fuel and are equipped with five-speed manual transmissions.) The convertible Geo Metro LSI is perhaps the most interesting of all … it’s hard to argue the fun factor of a ragtop with 46 miles per gallon on open road. Honda’s CRX HF was the sole non-Suzuki entry among the most thrifty cars available in the U.S.

All-in-all, 1991 was a great year for high-MPG cars, with cars from Daihatsu, Dodge, Eagle, Ford, Hyundai, Lincoln-Mercury, Mazda, Mitsubushi, Nissan, Plymouth, Subaru, Toyota, and Volkswagen joining the GM and Honda entries in breaking the 35 highway miles per gallon mark.

Top Ten High MPG Cars – 1991 Model Year Were:

•Geo Metro XFI – 3-cyl., 1.0 liter – MPG: 53 city / 58 highway
•Honda Civic CRX HF – 4-cyl., 1.5 liter – MPG: 50 city / 52 highway
•Pontiac Firefly – 3-cyl., 1.0 liter – MPG: 45 city / 50 highway
•Suzuki Swift – 3-cyl., 1.0 liter – MPG: 45 city / 50 highway
•Geo Metro – 3-cyl., 1.0 liter – MPG: 45 city / 50 highway
•Chevrolet Sprint – 3-cyl., 1.0 liter – MPG: 45 city / 50 highway
•Geo Metro LSI – 3-cyl., 1.0 liter – MPG: 45 city / 50 highway
•Honda Civic CRX HF – 4-cyl., 1.5 liter – MPG: 43 city / 49 highway
•Geo Metro LSI Convertible – 3-cyl., 1.0 liter – MPG: 41 city / 46 highway
•Suzuki Swift – 4-cyl., 1.3 liter – MPG: 39 city / 43 highway

small cars in the 80s and 90s did great on gas. most or all had carbs. drove a hyundai in the early 90s, had carb and did good, cant remeber exact mieage though. geo metro was popular back in the day, for some reason they faded away. chevy aveo now. rented one few years ago and it seems it only got 40ish mpg. people in goverment dont want fuel efficient cars. many cars and trucks dont do a damn bit better mileage today than 20years ago. i know fords v10 is no better than shit 25 years ago. and it was a pile of shit design to add salt on the wound.
