hoon fest questions

Post by maddog1927 »

1) Is there a camping area where I could bring my toy hauler?

2) Is this a "family" type event? Or would I be better off leaving the Wife, 11 yr old girl 8 yr old boy 5 yr old boy, and 2 year old girl at home.

Yea, toyhauler camping at its finest...

Its totally a family event. Hoons may talk a big game, but know when to cool it with the wifeys and tater-tots running around.

I have almost as much fun leading the kiddy rides as on the big-boy ones...

cool. I am getting behind on "family" time and it would be good to multi task.

I probably won't end up riding much, but it would be nice to get to know some of the hoons.

those vids of a tire with gas in it on fire rolling down a dune, was that at hoonfest?, that kind of thing makes it even more fun
the 450 will have less power and will be harder to start, and will be heavier, but to make up for it it will require more maintenance.

I drove by the site on my way from bullhead to phoenix. Looks nice. large flat area for toy haulers. good access, no rutted out. it is the only place you can turn north between mile marker 9 and 10 on #74. it is more like 9.8

there were about 20 pickups with trailers there on sunday afternoon. Mostly KTM's maybe clyde should come.
