Rear tires
Post your opinions when you've had a chance to ride it.
btw-I checked and the price on Rockymtn was the same as Amazon.
I don't know if Amazon purchases would add to the frequent purchase savings.
Hey, I've already gotten $100 and am close to another $50.
My $500 boots will end up costing me only $300 after it's all said and done with reward cash and the 10 percent discount.
I figure I can go to a dealer and pay more plus have to wait longer or I can have a happy experience with most online retailers, specifically Rockymtn, Motosport and Ronayers. Those are my top 3.

I have a 95 CR500 and the current tire is a Michelin S12 XC I believe with a size of 130/80-18. I'm looking at this IRC M5B with those huge lugs and wanted to know if that same size will fit? Motorcycle Superstore is having a big sale on tires right now so I'm thinking of picking one up.
Where I ride here in North Carolina we have a wide variety of terrain from semi hard to very soft sand. The S12 seems to do a lot of spinning but overall a decent tire.

I have been running a Maxxis IT. Not the desert one, but i just put the desert IT front on the 250. I love the rear IT. I have been running it since march last year. in the woods in crestline it has lasted forever. now that it is desert season it is really showing its wear, but the tire is like $56 at chaparral in SB. a really good deal on a tire that has lasted almost a year.

The 140/80-18 fits fine.

Well I am running it on my gen2 AF, which has a 19" wheel. Unfortunately, they only offer a 110/90/19 for my setup. I'm thinking of going with the 130/80-18 but I wish I could see the 130 and 140 up close to compare the two. I just can't fully imagine the size of this tire by the pictures. I also checked a few different places and Dennis Kirk and Motorcycle Superstore seem to be the best on prices.
the IRC M5B 140 is really big, tall too. I think terraflex might be the only ones bigger.
I would prefer a 130 over the 140.
In all honesty, its not a motocross handling tire, but a great play tire with really good wear characteristics. It will lose the edge in a few hours, but never chunks, never nibbled, excellent rim gurad at the bead, and a mother to install compared to anything else I have had to.

Decent tires mentioned and good real world reviews, when anyone asks about tires on the other site all they get is that moron recomending them to get a 560 chen sing.
I tried that waste of rubber a few years back and yes it huge yes it looks tough but it lasts about as long as if you wrapped the rear rim in cheddar.
I pity all the poor fucks who are gonna waste $40 on that douche's advice........
My favorite tire to date is the michelin S12 rear, doesnt last that long but it really hooks.
Lately I run whatever I can get as a fresh-ish takeoff lol

Yes, I do like a S-12 as well. Michelins are known for being very light tires.
A better handling tire with better profile for cornering.
Not as durable nor as heavy as M5B, but a very good tire.
If you ride deep sloppy mud, the M5B gets the edge in traction IMO.
Its hard to argue with those monster knobbies.
I have also had good luck with Kenda southwicks.
