Seat covers
Seat covers
I need a new seat cover in black. Silver/grey or white “Honda” “CR” or designs are OK, but no red or any other colors. Any suggestions on where to get one at a good price & any tricks to putting one on?
Go that way real fast, and if something gets in your way...............

Not easy to find with these colors.tadiv wrote:Silver/grey or white “Honda” “CR” or designs are OK, but no red or any other colors.
It is easy to send me money, but does that mean I am the right person to send it to?

I HATE installing seat covers, I'd rather have my toe nails ripped out!!! get a good staple gun with the round tip t-50 staples no longer than 1/2"
the slant point tip ones don't go in the plastic very well for some reason and make it TIGHT, some spray adhesive can help avoid wrinkles and the cover slipping around.

Thats why I love SDG seats. Just bolt them on. Only they don't make them for the 500.dannygraves wrote:I HATE installing seat covers, I'd rather have my toe nails ripped out!!! get a good staple gun with the round tip t-50 staples no longer than 1/2"

I read it wrong. Thought you wanted just black OR silver/grey. Nobody sells stuff like that mass produced. You'll have to have that one custom made. You won't find much for the 500 in anything semi-custom, only for the most part OEM replica's. The CR500 is old and outdated, not everybody rides them, so it doesn't make since for aftermarket companies to make things that won't sell. Like the 1 guy who wants a pink polka dot seat and graphics. Why produce 300 kits, when only one person is going to buy it.tadiv wrote:mxracr121 wrote:Black covers are easy to find. Doug has been doing seat covers for years and does great work.
He still does my seats.
