I'm in.
I am thinking about just camping out there instead of driving back and forth.
I also am considering racing the vintage class on my 1983 250cr Husky this should be a challenge.
Make sure they put you in the 1979 class with the other air-cooled twin shock bikes! I'll be bringing the 1979 Honda CR250R...

Oh Yeah! I can't do the air cooled I made a mistake it's a 84 the first year of the water cooled and last year of the dual rear shock.
That 650 is a heavy beast if my 500 isn't done than I will have to ride that.

So who's in? I am thinking...
Saturday
07:30 AM Unclassified - Hoonfest parade lap
10:30 AM 40+ Novice
...then high-tail it back to Laguna Niguel for kid's soccer in p.m.
Sunday
09:30 AM Classic (assuming vintage bike hasn't toasted it's piston)
11:30 AM Open Novice

There is such a wide variety in rider skill and equipment in vintage you won't find out until you give it a try. Everyone's very much out to have fun so don't sweat it. There's no stuff that's going to kill the suspension, but the straights are long so don't go marginal on the jetting.caseyracing222 wrote:Thanks you are the man when it comes to vintage bikes How do rotary valve engines stack up against the other vintage bikes? I've never ridden vintage MX before. Also does this track have alot of long straights?
