Can anyone confirm or deny that it's OEM for 1988 if not what year??? Will it fit a 1985 CR500?? :?

Nope, piggyback reservoir fouls the airbox. I had to make an aluminium airbox to fit one on my 85.

I was going to give it to a fellow hoon for his 85' I don't think he will want it now that we confirmed that it won't bolt on. If he doesn't want it Sareguy and you want a spare for your 88' it's yours.

He is going to perform the airbox mod. What ever parts he does not want you have first dibs just pay the shipping. I'll send you a PM with pictures of what I have after I know what he wants.

That looks like a 87-88 shock that someone installed a remote reservoir on.
Maybe from an XR?
