New to me CR500 in the PNW

A quick "How ya'Do", and a photo would be nice.

New to me CR500 in the PNW

Post by CR500RR »

Greetings all! I found this site recently and it has proven to be a great resource for my new-to-me CR500. It's an 88' model with a 94' engine swapped in. This bike is a classic "buy shit from Dennis Kirk and half ass putting it together" special. It runs and rides great but has lots of little issues (bolts broken off in the frame, zip ties in their place, wrong length bolts, washer stacks, etc.) that the previous owner created so I'm slowly going through and correcting all of that.

This thing rips! It's my first CR500 and open class power is addictive

Bike doesn't actually look too bad, but the new tank and white frame help. Good luck, and enjoy.
