I hate fockin snakes

Post by kevin_s »

Went riding today and had my first meeting with a Rattle snake while riding here in South florida.I came around a berm and there he was right in the middle of the trail,at first I thought I would pop a wheelie over him and chop his ass up with my rear tire but I thought why should I kill him?So we waited and he retreated back into the bush.

What do you guy's do when encounter a venomous snake while riding?
Any good storys?

when in doubt, pin it out
the 450 will have less power and will be harder to start, and will be heavier, but to make up for it it will require more maintenance.

Never ran across a rattler. Did run across a wild hog back in the day in Clearwater.
A group of us were single file, haulin' ass when the lead guy locked his brakes up and we all piled into him.
Most of the trails in Florida that have any time on them are pretty fast and clear.
Oh yeah, ran across a small gator one time too.

Aussie bush = 7 of the worlds deadliest snakes (done this 50 times) NEVER intentionally, monster orb spiders that love to build a 4-5" web across your track , then within 30thou land smack bang in the middle of your goggles & nose (done this at-least 5 times), wombat once, have had friends & competitors hit wallabies (small kangaroo 50-60kg) & kangaroos (100-160kg) major FUBAR's, countless foxes & wild cats.
& just to be different i hit a car in my speed boat doing 50mph with a skier on the back destroying everything underneath.

Com on down & see us some time

Its been a few years back, but this was the first rattler we had ever seen. My youngest son in the picture is 17 now, and I have a lot more grey hair. My buddy finally lost the mullet, but I'm sure he misses it.

At HoonFEST a few years back I almost got a rattler' by his tail as he slithered down a mousehole.

Brit was sitting about 5' away... I was going to sling it at him.....

Brit was less than pleased, and quite releived I missed the tail.
