I may do a combination of both as the Y came out pretty much complete. So, you're using a die grinder? Something like the one below? Sorry about the "DUH" questions but appreciate the help.

 well, if I blow a rod through the trans in mine, its getting a kx500 conversion, and I could probably pay for the whole conversion with my fuel setup, ign and whatever other parts are salvageable, so I'm not worried. I'm the same with my '08 CRF450R. I especially don't worry about it because ...

Best wishes to everyone and the families.

Looked on a parts fiche for a '08 TRX450R and appears the thumper quads just have a single cable too. Oh well, it was worth thinking about.

Huh, I would have never thought of that. You know, that could help your form too since you don't have to drop your right elbow to get to full throttle. Do the four-stroke quads come with those? I was thinking about getting a G2 Quick Throttle tube for my 450 since my local track has some jumps right...

Great work on those and thanks for the pics. They went straight to my "Misc Build Pics" file.

I'll start a thread soon Bob, once I get a bit further along. BTW, what size holes for the plug welds on the extensions/cradle? Also, are you looking to get the cradle to extension joint butted tight together or a little gap so the weld gets to the 3/4" insert aswell? I'm a carpenter so I ask s...

Got my frame in today and it looks fucking sweet. Hardly a scratch on it and I paid $150.00 + shipping for it. :woot: My friends wife works at the DMV so I'm going to see what I can do about getting a title. I don't really need one but it would be nice (especially since taxes would be based on the $...

bummer about your brother... I think the argon including a tank was like $80, then every refill was like $30. I use that 4340 wire, its like $15 for a roll that will last you forever. I use my works account at airgas, so it might cost you a bit more. I use that damn welder about every week or two. ...

serisouly, you have to have some local fabricators, it would suck to mail your frame back and forth, especially in regards to canadian customs.
