several lighting stators for 250. highest i seen is 60w

never thought very highly of them jet kits. who is putting in the hard hours to find magic needles for all these bikes ? and how could they even speculate what mods one bike had from the other. bunch of rubbish if you ask me. call sudco and get some real needles

naw you dont need special tools for the shock, not usually anyways. on the resorvoir deal where the adjustment thing unscrews does it have a octagon shape for a wrench or 4 prongs for a tool ? its not the right way but you can usually put a rag on there and turn it with some pliers if its the 4 pron...

i dont see how the shock body bore if bad. theres a bushing in there thats designed to wear instead of the bore. $5 replaceable item. your shock might not be working right because it lost all the nitrogen. oil might even be low even though you claim theres no oil leak. easy to speculate all day what...

If you dont want to revalve and all you want to do is replace the seal head, doing a shock is actually easier than doing forks. Its not rocket science. i sort of looked into the 250 deal because i wanted full billet hub, basket and pressure plate. was way out of my budget so i abandoned the idea before i found a answer if it would work.

you dont use a tire gauge. they hook it to a tank with a gauge built into the line and fill it. takes a few seconds and its done. dont put a tire gauge on afterwards or all your shit will excape.

its all pretty easy. with oem honda book you wont have a problem. after its back together most any shop can refill nitrogen. 5-10$ depending what shop

replacing bushing and seals on the forks and shock is easy. can do all of it on a saturday. did 2 honda and a yamaha so far. havent tore into my ktm yet but it will probly be easiest of all. something tells me you dont have a manual or you wouldnt be asking if its difficult

he should of made a bigger list so the rest of us could see where we stand

the less problems you have to bog down your progress the faster you get it completed. i say go for the newer stuff

exact thing happened to me. was like someone hit the kill switch. lost all compression. fair amount of compression came back after 2hrs or so. kept riding rest of the day with 2 clicks bigger main :lol: . some video around here of it. still ran pretty good i thought. hondas some tuff motors for sure...

just saying it was pretty cool i could pull away fine in 5th gear with 15/45 gearing...
