how is the spring? It definately is a float/ float needle issue, keep looking there. I replace mine every few years as the rubber dries out, even if it looks good it can act up. Does your engine vibrate excessively? headstays are tight? sounds like needle is bouncing when its running, but works fine...

I don't run anything but OE jets, I had a RD kehin copy burn up a piston before, cause the jet was actually about a 160 , not 192
