This Sunday starting the AF in the rain, boot slide off the side. Monday couldn't figure out why my arch was sore on the inside. Now I know.

Are you running a stock 500 ignition with the vortex? I am running an analog 250 on my bike and like the light flywheel effect. Wondering if a 500 vortex map is good with this ignition.

Does anyone run this ignition? If so, what are the results of the change. Good,bad, no change. Thanks, Bob

The high velocity seems to draw more fuel as it has more fuel quicker.

I run a 38mm AS on my 500 and it runs good, clean on the bottom thru the mid up to the normal sign off rpm on top. Not sure of jetting but I have a richer needle tham a dgn. If you like , I can do a check.

Are you sure you are using the right spring?
I had a 5.7 on an 08 crf450 and it was not that much bigger in diameter than the stock spring. I might still have it lying around. I will check the size

When you do it right, it looks just like a late model 250 case.
