I'm going to work on getting some current pic's of the 86' up. I have the 89' clamps and some reworked 90' forks on it now. Does anyone have a set of 91' forks?

I have an 87' 500 frame. Would this be the easy way for my rear disc swap? I have my modded swingarm already. I think the airbox will be the same from 86' to 87'? Plus, the better peg mount is a plus for me. Also, I think the headstays will be different? Am I correct in this?

have you thought about running a 90' clutch cover? aluminum and 2 piece design.

yes they do! i pulled mine from the 86' and did a usd swap. i have some extra 86' forks if needed.

did the front end swap. been spending a bit more time on the 86'. my swingarm has been modded for the disc. i havent tackled the frame tab yet.

Hey, I'm gonna re-do the 85' engine. Any thing i should look for or at, as far as whose piston to run ? I'd like to send the top end out to roosty and do a decomp. Just because it's more of a loaner bike, although i don't know anyone who would want to borrow it. Maybe a little clean-up on the ports ...
