Feel free to correct me, with the 250 frame it is pretty much plug and play. The 125 has a different cradle. Would seem like a simple fix, just bend new lower cradle tubes? Unless I am missing something?

I wanted to keep a bit of the older look but make it a bit more user friendly for me to ride. I need to mess with my caliper bracket a bit, it sits a bit close.

Decking a set of '86 cases

I have a set of cases that someone marred up a bit trying to get the cyl off. Any recommendations on a source to get them welded up and decked, possibly have new studs installed?

Thanks in advance.

I ordered a set of conversion bearings for the '86 the other day. I tracked down a set of '92-'94 clamps and forks. The main reason for this swap was so that I could get the correct spring rate for me. As well as a better front brake set up. All was well until I opened the box for the lower bearing....

New shifters on older steelies?

Has anyone run a current CRF or newer CR shifter on their '85-'90 CR 500's? I'd like to be able to run a Hammerhead extended or something along those lines? Any info is appreciated.

Gen 2 spacer ?'s

Hello, crunch time here and I seem to be missing some info. What are the correct spacers for my swap? If there is a factory number or just a measurement that anyone can throw my way, I would appreciate it! Thanks in advance.

Chances are looking good that the 85' will be for sale. I do plan on keeping parts, engine, wheels and poss the shock. It currently has usd's but i will include the original forks. If there is any interest let me know. Would like to part with it in on swoop.

I think I run a 90' shaft in one of my 85's. My 86' has a 90' cover on it. It is on here, $200.00 86'. I have seen 90' style covers for arounr $100.
