Salton sea / Ocotillo

Im heading out to my buddies place in Salton Sea Beach which is near truckhaven , north ocotillo area. Heading out Friday after work. LEt me know if anybody is down. This area is the best riding in the Ocotillo area

I have been riding about every other weekend straight through summer. i live in North San Diego and im ready to ride anytime. Bob since its a dual sport ride i imagine it will be on road some of the time correct?

So got the procircuit pipe mounted, also installed the new v force 3 reeds with the moose racing torque spacer and a new air boot, have the 98 airbox boot to install as well as to reroute the cooling hose around the new pipe, ill post up some pics tomorrow night to show the new progress I used the ...

If you would have read the thread you would have seen that he said the tank clears without modification. It is a gen 2 tank

I did the switch with a gen 3 clarke tank 3.2 gallon and it worked great with minor heat gun love on the bottom. I used the 500 radiator hoses as well.

What exact gas tank is that? How much work was it to get the tank and shrouds to fit? Its a clarke 3.2 gallon for a gen 3 cr250. I had to heat and move some spots on the bottom of the tank but it was minor and pretty straight forward. I used a cheapo harbor freight heat gun and just heated the area...

I ran a 120-90-19 bridgestone m604 tire all last season and it worked great and im thinking about getting another one but they are backordered for awhile so i was wondering what you guys think would be the best bet and what you guys are running.
