Maybe the reason trials bikes are the only segment of the 2T industry to get the benefits of technology upgrades is because their owners are the only ones smart enough to buy the proper bike for the proper venue, and will pay for the luxury. ... As opposed to someone who would take a high tec...

Looks fun. Is that a "vet" or intermediate track? Looks fast and smooth which I like. I'll have to hit up Perris sometime soon. I hear it's good. I would go but I won't be back in town until later this month.

WE race, hillclilmb, fire road, single track, and yes.... occasionally rock crawl.

Show me any other bikes that can do all that....

You guys don't know the difference between riding and rock crawling, or hiking for that matter. :bash: I'd rather stick needles in my eyes than take a CR500 for a walk. They make trials bikes for that shit.

I ordered new standard rings from Honda and they were at .020 end gap right out of the box. That's with a cylinder measured at 3.504 (like new). So much for the .020 max end gap. Put em in and run it. Mine works perfect. I'm surprised how loose an in spec piston and rings are. They're that way for a...

It was pretty cool considering I didn't even know these guys were going that day. Brit, your shock is probably fine now that you got the preload nut down into some good threads. Just clean up the threads and snug up the lock nut. Your sag actually looked about right after you got done with it. But g...

'01 Steelie Rear Brake Pedal is too Fucking Short

I need a longer rear brake pedal on my '01 steelie. It's only about 5" from the peg center to center and it's too fucking short. I'm always hanging up on it at the wrong time. For reference my CRF is about 6" from the peg and it makes a big difference. Does anybody make a replacement and/o...

I'll second that. Consider this an open invitation to any "approved candidate" pro level rider who would want a sweet stealy to flog in this event for posterity.

Yeah, I really should just buy a spoke set and an excell wheel, re lace and be done with it.

Seems like a such a PITA to find to find the proper (1/2" longer) spoke set. Any recomendations on a good source that knows the proper spoke set?

Never the less, it is a forth gear PINNED jump, with severe consequenses for a mistake. I don't think at my age I'll ever have the balls (or stupidity) to do it. The one in the video looks much more forgiving.
